My wife and daughter are US citizens. They’re just two innocent girls who want me to come back home. How do I explain to my kids why her father has been gone for so long?

I don’t know how to explain it to her, because, honestly, I don’t understand it myself. My wife is trying to hold our entire life together without me. She has to work, pay all bills, and fight this legal bottle at the same time, and I’m 100 miles away, unable to help two people that I love the most.

I love this country. I don’t even hear for over 16 years. This is my home, and I don’t want to go anywhere.

I told my bone hearing would give me a fair chance to come home. The judge knew that I had no criminal record, I didn’t pay socks since my wife and daughter are American citizens. I have home work and entire life here.

But I would still deny bond and call the high fly risk. This is one of the hardest things for me to understand. When you apply for adjustment of status, like I did, you’re not planning to hide from government.

You’re actually doing the exact opposite. I wasn’t heightened then, and I had no reason to hide now. How can I be a high fly risk when everything I had to wait for is right here?

In Louisiana, she was, like, almost impossible for people in the tension to be given a real chance to go home. I want people to know that what immigration detention looks like behind the statistics. It looks like my family, my family has done nothing wrong, but they are suffering every day because I’m not there.

All we want to be together again.

ATLANTA— The home of Georgia’s Secretary of State spokesman was shot at least 20 times overnight by a gunman who attempted to flee, before he was detained by a neighbor until being arrested by police.

A high-level source with the Atlanta Police Department tells Nick Valencia News, they’ve made officials at the Department of Homeland Security aware of the incident.

Video and images of the shooting were posted to the social media of Madeline Montgomery, a local CBS News reporter at around 2amET. Montgomery is the fiancé of Robert Sinners, a household name in Georgia political circles with a controversial past. The couple share the home together that was shot. They were home at the time of the shooting, but unharmed.

Montgomery told NVN the couple decided “to go to bed early for no reason and ended up out of the way of bullets in our couch.”

“They shot my whole house!”

Montgomery added that police who initially responded told them they believed people were shooting at each other.

Montgomery and Sinners home is in a dead end street. Their home was the only one hit. The suspect detained has not been identified by police, but according to neighbors he did not live in the area.

Now a spokesman for Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, Sinners was previously part of the so-called “fake electors” scheme in Georgia in 2020. The act was a central part of state charges against then former President Donald Trump and his allies to steal the 2020 Georgia election.

A former Trump loyalist, Sinners made a public amends for his role as a fake elector. He was never charged.

In a 2023 interview with the AP, Sinners denied the notion that Trump won Georgia.

Sinners cooperated with the U.S. House committee that investigated the violent insurrection on Jan. 6, 2021. He hasn’t said whether he’s cooperating with Willis.

“This was an ill-advised attempt by the former president’s campaign to create a false reality — a victory,” Sinners said.

I decided to leave my country when I was 14 years because things were very difficult there. I had the opportunity to be supported by my sister and I arrived at the Texas border at the immigration office when I was 14 years applying for a special immigrant juvenile visa after being abandoned by my parents. I spent three months waiting for my sister to come get me.

I enrolled in school and I was pursuing a career in welding and carpentry. I also want to play American football at school.

In September '25 I was fortunate enough to have the Trump administration grant me juvenile immigration status, which allows me to live legally in this blessed country. But in December I made a small mistake because I was distracted, and a police officer pulled me over for driving 52 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour street in Alabama. The officer called ICE and now I'm in a detention center in ICE custody.

And I need your help to get me out of here so I can continue my studies, finish my high school, and be with my sister and my nephews. And I'm a good teenager who just wants to give back to this country what it has given me through hard work and effort. Here in Winn, where I'm being held, I paint walls for $1 a day.
